Clean the litter box at least once per month

Scooping clumps on a daily basis is essential, but don’t neglect to thoroughly clean the litter box regularly.

This means replacing all of the litter and rinsing the box with mild soap and water. Wait for the box to dry before refilling with clean litter. If you use litter box liners, replace those as well at this time. We realize this requires a little elbow grease, but when performed regularly, it can be a done in a snap.
